Love for Sale. Cheap.

Y'know how Russian Christmas is after the twenty-fifth and Chinese New Year is in late-January? Well, if there's some nationality out there that celebrates Valentine's in March, they're gettin' one heckuva deal on the sweet treats of love.

I'm thinking of hatching a early-May Easter scheme this year.
Discounted chocolate bunnies?
Jelly eggs at 75% off?
I am so there.

So does .10 candy hearts bought in bulk for yourself make one feel loved? I think not.

Actually, the store display reminded me of an episode of "The Office" where Michael Scott explains that Xmas gifts are a way of saying, "I love you this many dollars worth." Poor ten-cent, belated Valentine recipient.

Does anyone EAT those chalky little hearts? (Perhaps the fact that there's still a rack of them at my grocery store answers that very question, hm?)
